Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on Bear Valley Road

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (January 12, 2020) – One person died in a two-vehicle car crash on Bear Valley Road on Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened in front of the Lone Wolf Colony Health Ranch Center near Joshua Road at approximately 6:53 PM.
 
Reports from the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station showed that two vehicles were involved in the incident. The vehicles were later identified as a silver Honda and a Dodge Ram hauling an off-road vehicle.
 
Firefighters pronounced the driver of the Honda dead at the scene due to the impact of the collision. However, the victim’s identity has not been released. An occupant from the truck was also transported to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Bear Valley Road closed for several hours between Central and Chipmunk Roads during the investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened.
 
The collision is still under investigation.
