1 Dead in San Leandro Fatal Car Collision

 
SAN LEANDRO, CA (May 8, 2019) – A person died in a fatal car collision on 580 Freeway on May 7 in San Leandro.
 
Authorities received a report about the collision at Dutton Avenue at 2:29 p.m., said Officer John Fransen.
 
The collision sent the vehicles off the road, resulting in one death.
 
Due to the collision, authorities shut down Dutton Avenue off-ramp but has reopened.
 
According to CHP officials, residual delays are expected.
