Reno Police Arrested Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash on Wrondel Way
Reno, NV (October 2, 2020) – On Thursday, one person was hospitalized after a tragic hit-and-run crash on Wrondel Way.
The accident happened at about 7:43 p.m. east of the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino.
Investigators said a pickup truck crashed head-on with another truck. The impact pushed the victim’s truck into a nearby parked vehicle.
Moreover, the suspect driver continued driving. He struck a parked car before ditching the vehicle a few blocks away and fled.
The rescuers took the victim to the hospital with possible minor injuries.
Finally, the Reno Police Department located and arrested the hit-and-run driver.
Aim high in steering, i.e. don’t make your steering adjustments based on what is directly in front of you, but rather what is down the road. If the road is winding to the right, for example, look as far into the turn as possible. This will improve your safety and make your turns smoother.
What to do after an Auto Accident
Here are the things that we need to do in case of a vehicle accident:
Before anything else, seek medical attention if you have been hurt.
Then, get to a safe place to prevent further damage or injury.
Also, collect as much information as possible: insurance and contact information of people involved in the accident, pictures/videos of vehicles involved, etc.
Do not forget to file a police report or incident report by calling 911.
Finally, hire an experienced personal injury attorney from Sweet Lawyers.
The most valuable step you can take in response to a vehicle crash is hiring a personal injury attorney. Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious car accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of the injured party.
