Person Injured, Fuel Spills in Semi-Truck Crash on Whitmore Avenue
Ceres, CA (January 22, 2021) – On Thursday, a driver was injured in a semi-truck crash on Whitmore Avenue.
The accident happened minutes before 11:45 a.m. between Morgan Road and Malike Avenue.
A man driving a Nissan Pathfinder was traveling westbound approaching Morgan Road. Subsequently, he struck a curb crossing into the eastbound lanes of Whitmore Avenue and collided with a semi-truck.
The semi-truck was at a stop at the time of the accident. Diesel fuel spilled into the roadway as a result of the crash.
Moreover, Ceres police said the van driver sustained moderate injuries while the semi-truck driver was not injured.
The authorities closed the roadway for about two hours.
