Krystal Padilla Apprehended in DUI Crash on Demaree Street

Visalia, CA (January 08, 2021) – On Wednesday, one adult was injured while police arrested 31-year-old Krystal Padilla in a DUI crash on Demaree Street.

The incident took place at about 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Coppola Avenue, near Crestwood Elementary School.

Apparently, Padilla was driving south when she slammed into the back of a parked vehicle on the side of the road.

The parked car carries two adults and three children at the time of the accident.

Immediately, responders treated one adult who complained of pain. Luckily, none of the kids were injured.

After evaluating Padilla, police said she was under the influence of alcohol when she slammed into the parked car.

They took her to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Then, authorities arrested and booked her into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Authorities set her bail to $100,000.

If you feel yourself drifting into other lanes due to fatigue or any other reason, safely pull over and rest before continuing to drive.

Dealing with Car Accidents

Furthermore, each year, around 20-50 million people are injured or become disabled due to an auto crash. To avoid suffering from such incidents, practice safe driving habits on the road at all times.

That is why, as a driver, it’s your responsibility to do it even when it is empty, even when there is no police officer around to make sure you make, say, a complete stop.

Even with the best driving habits, it is still important to know what to do if you find yourself in a motor vehicle accident
