One Injured, James Hover Arrested in Hit-and-Run Crash on West Ninth Street [Santa Rosa, CA]

32 Year Old James Hover Apprehended in West Ninth Street Crash

 
Santa Rosa, CA (March 21, 2021) – On Saturday, police arrested James Hover, a 32-year-old Santa Rosa transient in a hit-and-run crash on West Ninth Street.
 
The actual hit-and-run incident took place on March 19, 2021, at around 6:00 A.M.
 
Apparently, Hover intentionally ran down and injured a person sitting on a motorcycle under the overpass.
 
Police said Hover drove through the victim and motorcycle. Due to the impact, the motorcycle flew approximately 30 feet away into a nearby fence.
 
Afterward, Hover sped away in an unknown direction.
 
Rescuers took the victim to a hospital for suffering non-fatal treatment.
 
The following day, at around 10:00 a.m., police arrested Hover for violation of 664/187 Penal Code – Attempted Murder.
 
They booked him into the Sonoma County Jail.
