One Injured in Rollover Crash at 505 Freeway and 80 Freeway [VACAVILLE, CA]

Afternoon 2-Car Rollover Crash on 505 Freeway in Vacaville Injures One

 
VACAVILLE, CA (July 7, 2019) – One person was injured following a rollover crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of southbound 505 Freeway and northbound 80 Freeway.
 
The crash happened around 2:50 p.m. involving a gray Toyota Corolla and a red Honda SUV.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located an overturned Honda on the center divider, while the Toyota was on the right shoulder with a broken axle.
 
One occupant in the Toyota suffered a head injury and was bleeding. Paramedics took the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
According to a witness, one of the vehicles possibly braked and swerved in stopped traffic, hitting the back bumper of the car in front of it.
 
It is unclear if speed was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
