Car Catches Fire in Collision near Morgan Territory Road

 
CLAYTON, CA (March 22, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a fiery crash on Marsh Creek Road, Friday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 3:41 PM. In addition, the accident happened near the intersection of Morgan Territory Road. An unidentified vehicle allegedly went off the roadway in the right shoulder. Soon after, it was engulfed in fire.
 
The paramedics were eventually requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that one person suffered unknown injuries as a result of the impact. The injured victim was later transported to a nearby hospital by a ground ambulance.
 
Clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area following preliminary investigation. No other details have been released at this time.
