One Injured in Bicycle Crash on 4th Street [Eureka, CA]

Vehicle and Bicycle Crash Reported on D Street

 
EUREKA, CA (July 30, 2019) – One person sustained injuries in a bicycle crash on 4th Street, late Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at the intersection of D Street just around 6:00 PM. Based on an initial report, the victim’s bicycle collided with a vehicle in an unknown manner. Other details regarding the accident were yet to be released.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical assistance. The bicyclist was sent to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
 
A clearing operation took place to clear the road. Eureka Police are still investigating the incident.
