One Injured in Moreno Valley Collision

MORENO VALLEY, CA (December 10, 2018) – At least one person was hurt after more than a dozen vehicles was involved in a crash on Thursday, December 6.

Officials reported that the collision took place on westbound Moreno Valley (60) Freeway near Gilman Springs Road at about 6:29 a.m.

Reports from the scene showed that more than a dozen vehicles were involved in the incident, including at least one big rig. Drivers reported hours-long delays on Thursday morning following the incident.

According to Caltrans and CHP reports, a temporary full closure was issued on the westbound side of 60 Freeway near 10 Freeway.

Traffic was backed up for miles while officials worked to clear the crash site. However, according to the CHP report, traffic lanes reopened around 8:30 a.m. and a SigAlert issued for the scene was canceled.
