Crash on Highway 50 in Sacramento, Complaint of Pain Reported

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 1, 2019) – One person sustained injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 50 Thursday evening in Sacramento.
 
The crash happened around 9:42 p.m. on eastbound Highway 50 at 59th Street off-ramp. CHP officials responded to the scene and located a black BMW SUV and a blue minivan. Glass and debris from crash were strewn in the roadway.
 
Paramedics took one patient to UC Davis Medical Center with a complaint of pain to the left leg.
 
Towing services removed both vehicles from the crash site. In addition, several highway lanes closed while crews worked on the scene.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
