One Dies, Two Seriously Hurt in Rollover Collision on Interstate 15
Rainbow, CA – On Friday, one person died and two other people were seriously injured in a solo rollover collision on Interstate 15.
California Highway Patrol Officer Jim Bettencourt said the incident was reported at around 7:15 a.m. north of Rainbow Valley Boulevard.
Also, North County Fire Capt. John Choi also said the car was traveling northbound in the left lane when it drifted into a construction site. Then, the vehicle overturned several times and struck a concrete barrier.
Further, the authorities pronounced one of the car’s occupants dead at the scene.
Then, the rescuers rushed two other people to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment of fatal injuries.
Though, authorities have not yet provided details about the victims.
Meanwhile, authorities initially blocked off the left two lanes, but all lanes have since been reopened.
