Tulare County, CA (December 14, 2021) – On Sunday, a person died and two others suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Highway 137.

The crash took place before midnight at the intersection with Road 68, west of Tulare.

Investigators said the 16-year-old driver lost control of their vehicle and went into an orchard where they struck several trees.

Unfortunately, one of the passengers died and another sustained major injuries.

The rescuers treated the driver at the crash scene for minor injuries. Then, the authorities arrested them for driving under the influence.
