One Dead After Car Fell on Embankment in Vehicle Crash on Burlando Road

 
Bakersfield, CA (November 2, 2020) – On Saturday, one person died in a tragic vehicle crash on Burlando Road.
 
The incident took place after 4:30 p.m. south of Kernville.
 
California Highway Patrol said the vehicle was traveling on Burlando Road when the driver of the vehicle lost control. As a result, the vehicle fell down an embankment.
 
Two toddlers were in the vehicle at the time of the incident, but their injuries were not confirmed at this time.
 
The rescuers airlifted both of the toddlers to a local hospital.
 
CHP officer David Bunting said the mother of the toddlers has died.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities blocked both directions of Burlando Road as they investigate.
