Pedestrian Fatally Hurt in Spring Valley Hit-and-Run Accident on Jamacha Boulevard

 
SPRING VALLEY, CA (August 4, 2019) — A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run crash on Jamacha Boulevard on Wednesday, July 31.
 
According to CHP Tommy Doerr, the accident happened around 2:10 a.m. In addition, the crash happened near the intersection of Jamacha Boulevard and Whitestone Road.
 
Information about the incident were scarce. However, investigators believe that two vehicles struck the unidentified pedestrian. One car stayed at the scene. However, the other fled the scene after the incident, Doerr said.
 
The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene, Doerr stated.
 
No details about the vehicles or drivers involved were immediately released. Police did not release any other information regarding the details of the accident at this time. However, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
