Major Injuries Sustained in Collision near Byron Highway

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (January 9, 2020) – One person required an airlift to the hospital after a multi-car crash on Highway 4 on Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Byron Highway at approximately 2:05 PM.
 
Reports showed that multiple vehicles were involved in the incident. Vehicle descriptions were not yet available.
 
A medical helicopter arrived to transport one person to the hospital. The victim suffered major injuries due to impact.
 
Lanes on Highway 4 closed whole rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
 
The collision remains under investigation.
