Tremont Road Deadly DUI Crash Kills 18-Year-Old Om Shrestha

 
Solano County, CA (April 20, 2021) – On Saturday, 18-year-old Om Shrestha died while three others were injured in a DUI crash on Tremont Road.
 
The fatal single-car crash took place at around 9:30 p.m. east of Bulkley Road, wherein Shrestha died at the scene.
 
Besides Shrestha, the right rear passenger was not wearing a seat belt during the accident and also was thrown from the vehicle.
 
Officers did not identify the vehicle’s three other occupants, an 18-year-old male from Davis and a 16- and 17-year-old, both male and from Woodland. They were suffered from major injuries and all were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
 
Apparently, a black Ford Mustang was speeding when Shrestha made an unsafe turning movement.
 
As a result, the vehicle traveled into a field and overturned.

Officers consider alcohol as a factor in this crash.
