Wenatchee Crash Kills Driver, Injures Two
Wenatchee, WA (August 23, 2021) – On Sunday, an 18-year-old Okanogan County man lost his life, and two people suffered injuries in a Sunset Highway head-on crash.
The three-vehicle crash took place at about 5:20 a.m.near 13th Street.
Authorities said the unidentified 18-year-old driver was southbound on the highway when his pickup crossed the center line and crashed with a SUV, subsequently crashing into another SUV.
Unfortunately, the teen driver was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the rescuers rushed the other SUVs driver to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee with non-fatal injuries.
The authorities are still investigating the Sunset Highway head-on crash.
