No Major Injuries in Olancha Crash

Olancha, CA (November 25, 2021) – On Wednesday, officers responded to a three-vehicle crash on US 395.

It was about 11:40 a.m. when the crash happened about 20 miles south of Lone Pine.

Reports said a 30-year-old tractor-trailer driver was northbound on the freeway but didn’t realize traffic was stopped for a construction zone.

As a result, the tractor-trailer rear-ended a travel trailer at about 50 mph, which knocked the pickup and travel trailer combination into the rear of a Toyota SUV.

Unfortunately, the truck and travel trailer stopped on the northbound shoulder burst into fire.

Similarly, the tractor-trailer rested on the highway and blocked the freeway’s both lanes and also burst into the flames. Officers said it was hauling cardboard.

Luckily, no serious injuries were reported in this crash.

Moreover, the authorities are still investigating this crash.

Always focus on the road whenever driving. Keep your eyes on the road, and your hands on the wheel.
