Las Vegas, NV (September 02, 2021) – On Wednesday, officers report injuries in a US 95 tanker truck crash.
The traffic collision took place at about 4:25 a.m.
Officers said a fuel tanker truck jackknifed and overturned in the northbound lanes of the freeway. They also said that fuel spilled on the roadway due to the crash.
Investigators found out that the truck was carrying 8,500 gallons of gas and had a slow leak when it crashed with a BMW.
Emergency responders attended to minor-injury victims.
May this incident be a reminder for all motorists to drive responsibly. Moreover, drivers should also keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and driving inebriated will lead to dangerous road accidents.
