Officers Injured in Euclid Avenue Chase Collision [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (December 12, 2023) – Two San Diego Police officers sustained injuries following a Euclid Avenue chase collision early Monday morning.

It was past midnight when the authorities spotted a man vandalizing an electrical box at the intersection of Hilltop Drive.

The authorities tried to make contact with the suspect but he ran away which led into a foot pursuit.

The suspect got into a black Lexus and reversed down a hill. As a result, the vehicle crashed and ran over the two officers.

Later on, the officers were still able to pursue the man and arrested him on 51st Street.

The officers and the suspect were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
