RICHLAND, WA (February 3, 2021) – Monday night, an officer shot a suspect in a rollover crash near Duportail Street and State Route 240.
 
The authorities responded to a rollover crash on SR-240’s Lawless Drive Exit at about 7:00 p.m.
 
However, they found no one in the white pickup truck.
 
Thus, officers searched the area and came in contact with a person. After contacting the suspect, a Richland officer fired shots near Duportail St and State Route 240.
 
According to the police, a man was hit and injured by the officer’s gunshots. Thus, responders took him to a nearby hospital.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the condition of the suspect.
 
Meanwhile, Richland Police confirmed that no officers suffered any injury.
