KING COUNTY, WA (December 28, 2020) – Sunday afternoon, an officer suffered injuries in a police chase crash on 120th Place NE.
 
According to police, they tried to talk to a man suspected of a porch theft that happened on December 26.
 
The officers located the man at a Motel 6 at 12010 120th Place NE. Reports said that the man and a woman were entering a car. Then, the officers asked the man to get out. However, he refused and escaped, hitting an officer.
 
The officer tried to jump out of the way and only received a possible leg injury.
 
Meanwhile, the male suspect caused the officer to began a pursuit onto I-405, then onto Highway 522. Then, they exited to Bothell and then onto Woodinville.
 
Authorities used a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle. Then, the man tried to escape on foot, leaving the female passenger inside the crash. Moreover, the authorities noted that she was uninjured.
 
At this time, the male suspect remains at large and has felony warrants. He will be facing charges that include third-degree theft, third degree-assault, and eluding.
