San Diego, CA (April 19, 2025) – A police officer and five people sustained injuries in a crash on National City Boulevard.
A collision in National City sent a police officer and five people in another vehicle to the hospital on Friday evening.
According to the National City Police Department, the crash occurred at 10:30 p.m. when an on-duty officer, driving along National City Boulevard, collided with a car at the intersection of Civic Center Drive.
Emergency responders transported all five occupants of the car, as well as the officer driving the police cruiser, to the hospital.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the severity of their injuries.
The collision caused significant front-end damage to the civilian vehicle.
