FRESNO, CA (July 16, 2019) – On Sunday night, paramedics took an officer and civilain to a hospital following a car crash on Highway 180.
 
Officials said the incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. The officer was responding to a disturbance in the area when she collided with another vehicle at Highway 180 and Peach Avenue near the off-ramp.
 
First responders transported the officer and the person in the second vehicle to the hospital. Authorities expect that they are going to be okay.
 
The crash prompted the Fresno police to close a portion of Peach Avenue at Highway 180. They are investigating who had the right of way at the time of the collision.
