FRESNO, CA (December 22, 2021) – Tuesday night, an officer suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Christmas Tree Lane near Lansing Way.
The incident occurred at about 10:40 p.m. on Christmas Tree Lane near Lansing Way and Van Ness Boulevard intersection.
The motorcycle officer entered the intersection with his emergency lights and sirens activated. Then, he tried to clear out congested traffic in the area.
Meanwhile, a truck went into the intersection and crashed with the officer. The impact ejected the officer from his motorcycle.
As a result, the officer sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, the truck driver sustained no injuries in the crash.
