Two Car Collision in Hemet Leaves Officer Injured

 
HEMET, CA (March 5, 2019) – An on duty Hemet Police Officer was involved in a car accident on Juanita Street Tuesday evening.
 
According to authorities the accident occurred around 5:35 PM at the intersection of Juanita Street and Central Avenue. The other vehicle involved was identified as a Honda del Sol.
 
First responders arrived at the scene shortly after being notified of the collision. As a result, the officer was transported to a nearby hospital due to upper body injuries.
 
The occupants in the Honda were treated at the scene by medical personnel. A status update on the victims’ conditions and extent of injuries have not been released.
