Off-Duty Officer Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident at Pioneer Boulevard and Imperial Highway [Norwalk, CA]

Officer Hospitalized Following Hit-and-Run Rollover Crash in Norwalk

 
NORWALK, CA (July 22, 2019) – An off-duty officer was injured in a hit-and-run crash at Pioneer Boulevard and Imperial Highway Saturday.
 
According to reports, the crash befell around 1:45 a.m., and left the deputy’s white Lexus SUV overturned on its roof.
 
Reports failed to specify exactly how the collision occurred, but it did involve a person driving a red 2018 Chevy Silverado. Its driver, however, had other plans and continued traveling north on Pioneer Boulevard, leaving the injured officer at the scene.
 
Shortly after, paramedics transported the female victim to a hospital and listed her in stable condition.
 
Now, investigators are seeking the whereabouts of the vehicle and driver whose plates bore the number 15321P2.
