1 Injured in Jones County Fatal Crash
Jones County, TX (May 19, 2023) – On Thursday, Odell Giggs Jr. and Kyle Stephenson, 64, of Abilene, were killed in a US 277 head-on crash.
The traffic collision happened between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. around mile marker 312.
Texas Department of Public Safety officials said Stephenson was northbound in the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle driven by Giggs Jr.
A passenger in Giggs Jr’s vehicle was transported with serious injuries.
In the meantime, officers are still investigating.
