Deadly Morning Crash near Aliso Creek Rest Area in Oceanside

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (December 18, 2018) – At least one person was killed following a car accident Tuesday morning on 5 Freeway in Oceanside.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:15 a.m. on the northbound direction of the freeway near Aliso Creek Rest Area.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired, but a black Ford Explorer was reportedly involved. Fire crews along with paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age, and town of residence of the victim, were not immediately available.
