Ocean Park Man Airlifted in Highway 12 Vehicle Crash [Lewis County, WA]

Lewis County Collision Injures Drivers

Lewis County, WA (April 9, 2025) – A 35-year-old from Ocean Park in Pacific County was airlifted following a Highway 12 vehicle crash Monday morning.

The vehicle collision happened around 8:50 a.m. near Silver Creek.

Investigators said 58-year-old Morton man was traveling west on the freeway when he attempted to pass traffic, crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on onto another vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle, an Ocean Park man, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Tacoma General Hospital.. 

The Morton was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital. 

According to the investigators, unsafe passing resulted in the collision.
