OAKLAND, CA – One Hospitalized in Two-Car Crash on 580 Freeway at Park Boulevard

Early Morning Collision on 580 Freeway in Oakland Sends One Passenger to Hospital

 
OAKLAND, CA (March 24, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash early Sunday morning in Oakland.
 
The crash happened around 1:27 a.m. along the eastbound lanes of 580 Freeway at Park Boulevard.
 
Law enforcement arrived on the scene and located a gold Lexus sedan that had flipped over on its side in the center divider. Another sedan was recovered on the right shoulder.
 
A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken by paramedics to a hospital with unspecified injuries and in an unknown condition.
 
An investigation is still ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved in the accident.
