Man Seriously Injured on Highway 90 Near Exit 31 When Colliding with a Semi-Truck
NORTH BEND, WA (January 24, 2018) – Around 3:30 PM on Wednesday afternoon, a Jeep and semi-truck hauling cars, were involved in an accident on the eastbound Interstate 9 near milepost 3 and exit 31.
Although the cause of the accident is unknown, the damage caused to the Jeep left the driver with serious injuries. He was taken to the Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, but is expected to live. No other injuries were reported in this incident.
All lanes of the eastbound 90 Highway, just east of North Bend, were shut down for about two hours. Traffic was detoured onto the State Route 202 until the eastbound 90 reopened around 5:45 PM.
Authorities continue to investigate as they search for the cuase of the incident.
