Female Rider Dies in Yuba County Traffic Accident
Yuba County, CA (Aug. 9, 2023) – On Saturday, Nora Barrie, a 60-year-old motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries in a Highway 20 motorcycle collision.
Law enforcement and emergency personnel responded to the collision at about 2:47 p.m. in the area of East 22nd Street wherein a motorcyclist and an SUV were involved.
Barrie was driving southwest on the freeway on a motorcycle and an SUV was turning left onto East 22nd Street from Highway 20.
Unfortunately, Nora Barrie’s motorcycle crashed with the vehicle and she died at the scene.
Investigating officers said impairment was suspected and the collision was under investigation.
