Hit-and-Run Crash on Hillcrest Avenue Left Nirivana Allen Injured

 
Antioch, CA (April 10, 2021) – Police arrested a suspect following a hit-and-run crash on Hillcrest Avenue that left Nirivana Allen injured on Friday night.
 
The incident happened on April 9 on Hillcrest Avenue exit on Highway 4.
 
Olivia Allen said that his husband identified as Nirivana Allen, went out of his vehicle after getting into car trouble. According to her, Allen pulled over to get a can from the trunk when a vehicle struck him.
 
Allen’s 6-year-old daughter who was in the vehicle with his 7-year-old son and 8-year-old nephew stepped out to help him. Then, he told her daughter to go back inside, and there she called her mother saying “Mommy, daddy is outside the car, he’s hurt, his leg is bleeding, I can see his bone, it’s dark and I’m scared.”
 
Responding officials airlifted Allen to the hospital for treatments. He has been in the hospital for almost two weeks now however, there has been no update regarding his current condition. His family and friends have rallied together and as of now, they have raised $20, 000 for them.
 
Meanwhile, the three children did not sustain any injuries but they were still in shock at what happened.
 
Furthermore, Allen’s family said that the police arrested the female driver of the vehicle involved in the incident.
