Nicholas Shelton Dies After Crashing Motorcycle Into Vehicle on Naval Air Road Near Hueneme Road

 
POINT MUGU, CA (November 20, 2018) – A 30-year-old Camarillo man was killed in a motorcycle accident late Sunday night on Naval Air Road near Hueneme Road.
 
The deadly collision took place just before 11:55 p.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, Nicholas Shelton was riding his motorcycle westbound on Hueneme Road when, under unknown circumstances, his motorcycle collided with a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Oxnard man.
 
News reports say the vehicle was traveling southbound on Naval Air Road before the crash. The impact ejected the 30-year-old motorcyclist off the bike and onto the roadway. The driver of the vehicle pulled over to the right side of Naval Air Road and stayed at the scene.
 
The authorities are investigating this crash further to determine what had happened since the details remain scarce at this time.
