Nicholas Nunez Arrested and Injuries Sustained in Visalia Car Accident

VISALIA, CA (January 4, 2019) – A Toyota FJ Cruiser occupants sustained injuries and Chevrolet Silverado driver was detained following a head-on crash on January 3.

According to Sgt. Curtis Brown, the crash occurred just after 12:00 m.n. on Houston Avenue and North Woodland Street. 26-year-old Nicholas Nunez was reported to be driving the truck westbound in eastbound lanes when he crashed with the eastbound FJ, Brown added.

Meanwhile, the SUV occupants were transported to an area hospital with moderate injuries. Nunez also suffered minor injuries. The authorities believed that Nunez was under the influence of narcotics during the collision.

Nunez will be booked into jail when he was released from a hospital.
