Cathedral City, CA (November 29, 2024) On Thursday morning, a Community Services Officer, 31-year-old Nicholas Griego of Palm Desert was killed in a tragic crash on Cathedral Canyon Drive.
According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the 3-vehicle collision happened at about 11:50 a.m. at the intersection with E Palm Canyon Drive.
Reports say that the tragic crash claimed the life of the Community Services Officer.
Officials say that the incident occurred around 11:50 a.m. on Cathedral Canyon Drive and E Palm Canyon Drive, involving a motorcycle, a pickup truck, and a third vehicle.
Authorities say that the motorcyclist, identified as Griego, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later confirmed Griego served as a Community Services Officer with the Palm Springs Police Department.
