Nicholas Coleman of Portland Injured in Highway 14 Collision [Vancouver, WA]

Vancouver, WA (August 13, 2024) – Nicholas Coleman, 36, of Portland, was injured following a Highway 14 collision Sunday night.

It was about 9:40 p.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened west of Interstate 205.

Responding officers said a GMC truck rear-ended a 2002 Buick LeSabre driven by Coleman and immediately fled the scene.

As a result, Coleman was trapped in the vehicle and was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in stable condition.

It was 22 minutes for the rescuers to free Coleman from the wreck.

Meanwhile, WSP is investigation the cause of the collision and asks anyone with details to contact them.
