1 Hurt in Las Vegas Car Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 3, 2019) – A NHP Trooper suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Boulder Highway on May 2.
Authorities came to the scene around 1:17 a.m. on the 4100 block of Boulder Highway. In addition, the accident happened near East Desert Inn Road, LVMPD Lt. David Gordon said.
Meanwhile, NHP spokesperson Travis Smaka revealed that the trooper participated in the DUI Strike Team. They were investigating on Boulder Highway when the trooper noticed a black pickup truck driving towards him. The soldier jumped out of the way.
As a result, the trooper got clipped and not directly struck by the vehicle. Moreover, the truck driver didn’t stop and escaped on northbound Boulder Highway.
The trooper sustained non-life threatening injuries and medics transported him to University Medical Center for treatment.
