2 Officers Involved in Harris County Auto Accident on Interstate 10 near Spur 330

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (February 27, 2025) – Tuesday morning, authorities arrested Nathan Arevalo after an alarming head-on crash on Interstate 10.

The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. along Interstate 10 near Spur 330.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, two Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies, identified as Josh Blair and Louie Ayala, purposely collided with an eastbound vehicle traveling in the westbound lane.

Moreover, authorities said that deputies Josh Blair and Louie Ayala both felt sore in the crash but sustained no serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the wrong-way driver, identified as 23-year-old Arevalo for DWI.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the crash.
