Natasha Starner Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Twentynine Palms Highway [Morongo Valley, CA]

1 Hospitalized in Morongo Valley Pedestrian Accident on Twentynine Palms Highway

 
MORONGO VALLEY, CA (July 8, 2021) – Saturday morning, Natasha Starner sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Twentynine Palms Highway.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 4:00 a.m on eastbound Twentynine Palms Highway.
 
Reports revealed that a 2014 Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck or sport utility vehicle struck the female victim who was walking on the shoulder of the highway after her vehicle ran out of gas. The suspect’s vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
 
Also, the family members of the victim found the woman unconscious on the side of the road.
 
Furthermore, responders transported 32-year-old Natasha Starner to Hi-Desert Medical Center with severe injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officials found a passenger-side vehicle mirror at the scene.
 
Moreover, CHP urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the Morongo Basin Area office at (760) 366-3707.
 
The incident is under investigation.
