Police Investigate Auto-Pedestrian Crash on 31st Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (November 16, 2022) – Police responded to a reported auto-pedestrian accident and found Nakita Lupe, 25, died after the crash on 31st and Southern avenues.

Phoenix Police said Lupe was trying to cross Southern Avenue in a dark area near 30th Avenue around midnight when the crash happened. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the driver cooperated with police, and impairment was not suspected.
