Police Arrest Myron Haskin in Fatal Franklin Boulevard Crash

 
Sacramento, CA (March 25, 2021) – On Thursday, police arrested 28-year-old Myron Haskin in a deadly DUI hit-and-run crash on Franklin Boulevard.
 
The crash took place at around 2 a.m. north of Turnbridge Drive.
 
Haskin was driving northbound when he struck a pedestrian walking in the bike lane. Reports said he immediately fled the scene after the incident.
 
When officers arrived, they found the victim’s smashed shopping cart and the suspect’s vehicle front license plate.
 
Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
Later on, at around 2:57 a.m. officers found Haskin with his vehicle parked on the right shoulder of Highway 99, north of 12th Avenue.
 
Authorities said Haskin was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. They arrested him and he faces multiple charges.
 
At this time, the officers have not yet identified the deceased.
