Gaviota, CA (October 23, 2020) – On Thursday, the traffic authorities closed a portion of southbound of the highway due to a multiple-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Gaviota Tunnel.
 
The crash incidents began shortly before 6 a.m. which includes collisions and spin-outs into guardrails. Also, with cars blocking all roadway lanes.
 
Immediately, emergency responders arrived at the scene as of 7 AM. Multiple tow trucks were also called at the scene, according to Shivers and the CHP.
