BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 23, 2021) – Monday morning, authorities received reports of multiple injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Planz Road and Wible Road.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 2:18 a.m. at the corner of Planz Road and Wible Road.
 
Meanwhile, responders found two flipped-over vehicles at the scene.
 
On the other hand, witnesses managed to turn one of the vehicles back on its wheels. Moments later, smoke started to come out of the vehicle.
 
Moreover, firefighters managed to extricate two people from the smoking vehicle and one other from the other car.
 
Also, authorities believe that one of the vehicles involved ran a red light and was struck at the side by the second vehicle.
 
Officers released no further details regarding the number of injured in the crash.
