4 People Hurt in Fresno Auto Accident on Highway 180 near Abby Street

 
FRESNO, CA (January 1, 2023) – Saturday night, authorities reported multiple injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 180 near Abby Street.
 
The incident happened just before midnight on Highway 180 near Abby Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Camry merged onto the highway. Then, it swerved to avoid a collision with a police patrol vehicle. Afterward, the Camry overcorrected, lost control and crashed into the center divider. Also, authorities said that the police vehicle also struck the center divider during the incident.
 
Moreover, paramedics transported two officers from the patrol vehicle. Meanwhile, two occupants of the Camry sustained minor to major injuries.
 
Furthermore, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
 
Meanwhile, the crash remained under investigation.
