Multiple Injuries Reported in Crash on Euclid Avenue and Highway 94 [San Diego, CA]

Several People Injured in San Diego Multi-Vehicle Accident on Euclid Avenue

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 22, 2020) – Monday morning, a crash on Euclid Avenue and Highway 94 resulted in multiple injuries.
 
The California Highway Patrol revealed that the crash happened about 12:10 a.m. A southbound black sedan traveling on Euclid Avenue and went off the road. Afterward, the vehicle fell down an embankment and onto westbound Highway 94.
 
The initial crash led to a chain-reaction of vehicles crashing into the back of the black sedan. Meanwhile, the driver was trapped inside during this incident.
 
Furthermore, in an attempt to avoid pile-up, witnesses used light to wave down the traffic.
 
Upon the fire crews arrived, they used the jaws of life to extricated the driver from her car. Then, responders took her to a hospital with major injuries.
 
Furthermore, responders also transported several drivers to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
The CHP continues to determine why the black vehicle lost control and crashed.
