5 Hurt in Lubbock Auto Accident on Highway 62 and Highway 82
LUBBOCK, TX (January 18, 2023) – Tuesday morning, authorities reported multiple injuries following a two-car crash on Highway 62 and Highway 82.
The incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 62 and Highway 82, just south of Foster Road.
According to reports, a car struck a cow that was standing in the roadway. Then, moments later, a second vehicle rear-ended the first vehicle.
Moreover, responders transported a total of five people to Covenant Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The cow in the underhand died in the collision.
Furthermore, the incident closed both lanes of the roadway but has long since reopened.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under active investigation.
