SAN JUAN, TX (April 24, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, an alarming multi-vehicle crash near N Veterans Boulevard and E Sioux Road led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 3:15 p.m. near N Veterans Boulevard and E Sioux Road.

According to the Pharr Police Department, the crash involved a vehicle used by a suspect involved in an assault. Then, the police pursuit ended when a San Juan police unit chasing the suspect was involved in a crash involving four vehicles.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that responders transported multiple patients to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Furthermore, officers said that the suspect involved in the assault remained at large.
